Gothy Lopez

Gothy  Lopez , was born in San Salvador in 1975. She studied A Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of El Salvador. She received the   "Philips" award  to  represent El Salvador at the Latin America Exhibition of Young Talents in Sao Paulo. She worked as a professor in the School of Applied Arts at University Jose Matias Delgado of El Salvador, she has participated in numerous exhibitions, including At The David J Guzman Museum of El Salvador, The Memorial of America in Brazil, The Principality of Monaco, The Room Artists of Paris, in The House of Latin America in Lyon, Paris, Italian-Latin American Institute in Rome, "Guest Artist"  X  Florence  Biennal  2015,  among others.  Her technical  mastery  leads to deepen the human condition with stunning originality. She is currently working on a painting of Monsignor Romero for Pope Francis. A legislative decree granted her the status of Distinguished Painter of El Salvador.
